At TeaHong.com, we try to put ourselves in our customers’ shoes. Different people have different priorities. Each sees the world differently. Naturally when it comes to selecting a tea, your criteria may not be the same as that of any other tea drinkers. That is why we group our tea products in different ways so you can see them in the context that is closest to how you think when selecting a tea.
Selection by Tea Category
The most common way to group different varieties of tea is by the category of processing method with which they are produced. Some call it Tea Classification, others Tea Categorisation. We think the later label is semantically more accurate.
Many connoisseurs and tea specialists organise their collections with this concept.

Orchid Gratus, Phoenix dancong oolong
A BIG, BIG, TEA
A vivid, but pleasant floral taste, fills the mouth and passes to the nose. A gardenia or orchid flavor is pervasive all over my mouth. Some mouth tingling activity, and thickness. A big huigan is present. This is really good tea that took me by surprise. I use less leaf as I don’t want the tea too over the top in sweetness. This is a tea that makes you take notice!

2011 vs 2012
2011 was sold out so I got this 2012 but was surprised the two years don’t taste the same. This is good and has floral taste but I like the more fired taste of 2011 much better. Do you have more fired taste for 2013 or 2014?

It’s all about subtlety
All in this marvelous tea is subtle: the clear infusion color, the elusive smell a combination of fine cream and fresh flowers, and the soft tangerine taste that emerges from the infusion when it becomes colder. Warning: there is a serious risk to become “teaholic” at first try.
