The loose definition of the classic form “Han Bell” lends much flexibility for the artist to interpret the Yixing teapot according to their own inspiration. This delicate work by the hard working hands of Fan Yu Jun does represent a fine manifestation of the ancient spirit of Han civility.

The recipe of the clay employed is also worth noting: to emulate the appearance of the very rare Jiang Po Sha — a Yixing clay in a tiny locality of that name near the original Wang Long quarry — the clay master blended quite a mix of materials from different bed levels. The resultant appearance is not only more appealing than the original, but also practical in its light weight and porosity.

This pot is good for medium to long duration infusion and slow pouring.

Fan Yu Jun himself is a young and rising star in the Yixing arena.

All Yixing teapots at Tea Hong are delivered with a pull-string towel sack in a collector box with cushions inside.

Note:

Unless otherwise stated, all Yixing teapots are new from the kiln. Please properly clean and prepare them before making tea in them. There is a proper procedure to do that. It is described at:
Yixing Teapots, An Introduction | Tea Guardian

We try our best to represent the colours of all tea accessories, including Yixing teapots in the product photographs. However, there are many factors that we cannot control, including those that affect how the photos are rendered in your computer or mobile device. There maybe interpreted discrepancies between the colour as seen on this site and that of the product you receive.

Since the certificate included in this particular product has been made for a particular series the artist hand-produced, the artist holds a teapot in the photo included in it does vary in the details of the pot this site carries. This does not affect the authenticity of the pot or the recognition.
