Taste profile
Open, warm, earthy aroma with an accent reminiscent of the forest after a Spring shower. Sweet, earthy infusion with an undertone of oat, accented with a high herbaceous note. Good weight and a round body with a silky tactility. Long, clean, sweet aftertaste.
Infusion tips
Infuse light for regular drinking, but can be made very strong for small sips after greasy meals. Always blanch well before infusion with 100°C water. Use a genuine Yixing pot for better results.

Local people say that is due to the soil and higher mineral content of the underground water. Considering the location is only about one hour away from where Tieguanyin Traditional is produced within the same county, it is quite amazing. Maybe it is also due to the slightly different style of processing, we guess. We are happy to have found it at this pristine quality after all, so as to offer to you an alternative style of this most well-known Fujian oolong. |

To acquire really fine Long-jing in rapidly changing China, we had to search away from tourists infested localities, and yet still faithful to the origin of Hangzhou. In Wu’s farm where the underground water is crisp and the air sweet, our Long-jing master realizes the environment is more important than the convenience; there would be no quality without the traditional respect for Nature. Tea Hong’s Long-jing Spring Equinox might well be used by nobles and mandarins in their tea competition when Emperor Qianlong was still young and flamboyant, and crazy about the tea.

Delicate & refined tasting pu-erh!
The moment we tasted the first brew of this Menghai fine leaf pu-erh, it brought a smile. It was a familiar taste that my wife and I have come to associate with quality pu-erh. We have tried many. Quite a few that my wife had left them to me to finish. This is one which she insists to drink with me!
