Those who prefer white tea as their daily drink but want a bit more stimulations in taste, White Peony from Zhenghe is a great choice. It is air dried for a longer duration from a different cultivar, Zhenghe Dabai. The resultant tea tastes slightly sharper and longer than Silver Needles or Fuding style White Peony. A fine tea that is most affordably priced.
Fresh, open, herbaceous aroma that reminds of cooked grains and new leaf sprouts. Undertones of cream, nuts and slight hint of tobacco. Soft, malty sweet infusion, silky texture. Herbaceous and sweet aftertaste.
Put a bit more tealeaves in the mug/teapot/gaiwan, and infuse for slightly less time in the first round. The tealeaves can be infused for more times this way and the taste more true to the profile.
A green tea made from the first flush of a Taiwan wulong cultivar grown in the mountains of the Huangshan UNESCO World Heritage Site to the strictest organic standard, Tea Hong’s Organic Spring has a mild and yet flavorful character that changes according to how it is infused and the state of the drinker. This non-demanding fluidity makes this tea a great choice for the Zen sitter and the hard thinker, to whom discovery is a transcendence.
Traditional style Huangshan Maofeng is yellowish from the heating style during processing. There is also a new and greener style. For a fresher, lighter tasting alternative that some people may prefer. Tea Hong’s Huangshan Cuiyu is produced from plucking before the lunar almanac demarkation of “guyu” — the first rain for seeding, around early to mid-April — for optimum quality.
No this is not the beer but 100% pure oolong. Wuyi classic oolongs in general distinguish themselves from other oolongs with a stout, rather immediate and powerful impact. Tea Hong’s Cream Stout differs from the crowd with a soft creamy finish and a light tone of cream that is developed naturally in the tealeaves themselves. This is possible only with a new pedigree of tea cultivar, Aijiao Wulong. We believe you’ll like the oolong much better than the beer, as we do.
Silver Curls is a spring flush harvested in the deep mountains in eastern Fujian. A nice green tea both for its taste and appearance, it can be used extremely flexibly for various needs. This Tea Hong’s basic grade green tea is often placed as a premium one in many other teashops.
