You Cheng: Dragon Egg ( Long Dan )

Long Dan is one of the traditional teapot forms that are most effective in infusion for its surface to volume ratio. The proportionally slightly taller form than its peers means relatively even slower heat loss and is therefore more suitable for longer brewing duration. Yunnan’s unique Jianshui Zitao gives this form extra meaning for the clay’s higher density. A great pot for green teas and those blacks and oolongs that you would steep there for longer time.
