Red Cloak Grande 2018
2011 vs 2012
2011 was sold out so I got this 2012 but was surprised the two years don’t taste the same. This is good and has floral taste but I like the more fired taste of 2011 much better. Do you have more fired taste for 2013 or 2014?Mrs Ngo
Lily Eccentric 2017
Usually Qi Lan either too little fire or too much fire. This one is just right and very good smell. Excellent Wuyishan taste and after taste. Good for Zen tea for one person drinking. Also good for me and my family for breakfast tea.Ai Han Ngau
Snow Orchid 2020
My, my, this tea is full of flavor. Dry leaf aroma of melon. Pale yellow liquor with smooth, floral bouqet that fill the mouth. Huigan is big and long. Tremendous flavor rests on the tongue. Thick mouthfeel. This could be somewhat over the top, and perhaps less leaf should be used unless you are looking for a powerhouse of a perfumed Dancong. Many, many, brews. Quite enjoyable. This is the best selection of Dancong from any dealer I know in Asia.Jeffrey Novick
Silver Curls 2019
Nice balanced Chinese green tea
Silver Curls Spring has an appearance of light green and silver curls. The description states that this is a more mellow green tea with a slightly sweet aftertaste. I think that description is accurate. In many ways this tea reminds me of some other green teas I have had, but a finer quality, and the appearance is nice. It shows the careful work put into making the tea. Like Tianshan April Mist, this is also a quite refreshing tea, but due to its balance and poise, rather than its strength and brightness. The aftertaste is a little soft and sweet. The taste is a little reminiscent of a softer and cooler Longjing. This strikes me as an excellent overall representative of a refined and classic Chinese green tea. On a personal note, it is also the type of tea that I would enjoy on a daily basis.pancakes
I think this is the most naturally fragrant tea I ever had. Unforgettable aroma. I used a teaspoon of leaves to brew initially for one minute in a 2 cup teapot but filled only to 3/4. Can repeat 5 times and it was still good.Jean v. Young
Good price for quality
This is nice tea to serve big party and not lose face. I tried this because I had 12 people coming for lunch and there was not much remaining long jing tealeaves I bought from Hang Zhou. So I buy this tea from Tea Hong, together Wuyi Shuixian and a nice looking gai wan set for free delivery. The leaves not so nice looking like my Hang Zhou tea because mine was many times more expensive. The taste is much better than the price. At first I thought I will use this as back up, but decided to use as the main tea. I did not tell my friends this tea from internet shop and they thought it is the expensive Before Qing Ming Long Jing I bought from Hang Zhou. I did not lose face using a cheap backup. Thank you.
