Preorder for Premium Green Teas

We have had words from different regions that generally harvests for top quality green teas have been a little late this year. They are still happening now as I write this. It is also predicted that the quantity will be reduced because of the adverse weather in some areas.

This seems to mean it would be a much keener competition to get the quality we want.
|
While I will try all that I can to maintain quality and price, please help me by placing your pre-order as soon as possible. I will not be holding excess stocks in order to minimise inventory for cost control so as to deliver the value that is key to our reputation.

For price-efficient green teas, it is not as critical yet. Even though it will help to share with us your intake plan for them as early as possible.

UK Market for Premium Teas

While high-street brand name stores are teeming with tea shoppers, there seems to be good traffic even in independent shops in working class neighbourhoods, such as this one. Despite the poor setup, deceptive tea quality and high prices, people are still eager to explore. In another shop that's about 12 meter square in size, I talked to an old black lady who was buying a Yixing teapot that was almost £300. She asked me not to tell her daughter that she was getting yet another one, and was joking that she had enough of such teapots to bury herself in. Such is the enthusiasm for tea there.

Our London trip has been very rewarding. Quite a number of clients and friends have even travelled from Europe to see us. There were dinner parties, teashop-hopping, impromptu tea tasting, and long afternoon teas. It was a very good time. I am deeply grateful. Thank you again.

We have also done quite a bit of exploration of the market. We have been to a number of smaller shops as well as established and prestigious stores. Our impression is that while the city is eager for real quality products, the retail side still has a long way to go to supply for this need.

In another word, the market for real quality is pretty much wide open for those who can offer and market it.
