A White tea that is actually Green, and real White teas that are not white
|
This year, White Tea of Anji looks a bit wilder because of the weather (as said, it is an unusual year), but it tastes as supple and umami as ever.

|
In case you forgot about it, White Tea of Anji is actually a green tea. It looks very green too, as you see in the photo. Find out why it is called white «here».

If you are looking for real white tea, don’t seek out only white looking ones. In fact, white looking teas may not be white tea at all. I have written a small article about this «here». A white looking, but not actually white tea misses all the points — it does give you the taste nor the salutary contents.

When we curated our collection of white teas, productions using old style cultivars and methods, classic ones as well as newer approaches have all been examined. We want to offer not only the usual labels, but also tastes and qualities that are worth your precious tea time. See the collection «here».
