Yesterday at around 6:45 pm, the property agent told me that he has got the signed contract from the landlord. Since over two weeks ago we said we wanted to rent this humble little house that was built as a small school in an industrial area, he has been helping me to push for a verbal agreement first ( there is a “guarantor agency” and a property management company in between, each with processes of “verification” ), so that we could start getting things ready: getting all the utilities, getting quotes for all those needed repairs, scheduling with the relocation mover and new furniture and equipment to move in…

We got that head nod a few days ago, and started pressing forward immediately. Just moving the two huge lots from Hong Kong needs time. If all transportation and customs clearance goes as planned, we will resume selling online in the later part of October. Please accept my apologies for this one month of delay. (We said we would possibly resume in September)

Towards the end of this article in the New Home for Tea Hong link, I ask whether you think it’s a good idea to launch a Nostalgic Old Hong Kong Tea series after the shop resumes. Actually there are a few other new product collections, although all need time to prepare the web contents first before they can be released:

- New additions to three of our popular series: Phoenix oolongs, Taiwan black teas, Pu’er cha-bings
- Yixing teapots ( quite many items )
- Kyūsu ( Japanese teapots by renowned artisans )
- Other tea wares ( a few cute and useful ones )

Your wholesale order
For our wholesale clients, if you have orders waiting to be filled yet, we shall begin packing/sending them immediately when we have got the stocks from Hong Kong. I shall communicate with you separately about the status of your order. It is likely that those that are smaller than 50 kg will be sent before the online shop even resumes.

Normally I send newsletter specialised separately for retail patrons and wholesale clients, but because of the loads of things urgently needing attention, I have to make it a bit more economical in time here. Thank you for understanding.
