Intense bot attacks because of a post?
Starting last Friday around noon for over 30 hours, TeaHong.com had been under constant and vigorous bot attacks that aimed at overloading our site server. They had stalled the site for three times. If you had experienced difficulties using our site during that duration, please accept my sincerest apologies. We are now better shielded than ever before.
Although in recent years there have been regular spam and bot attacks, this recent rounds had been by far the most intense and advanced. Someone seemed to be targeting us purposefully. Perhaps because my recent post “Single harvest matcha? A demystification” or the newly rewritten page “Direct from farm” are revealing too much reality that certain entities are not happy with?

A photo in the rewritten page "Direct from farm" that describes a dark era in China that I witnessed, and that has been an underlying motivation for my devotion to the ordinary farmers' work

Nevertheless, we feel blessed to have been using the most well regarded professional website hosting service, and the best practices and softwares for the site. A few stronger behind the scene measures have been installed, one maybe visible though — when you are visiting the site, occasionally you maybe asked to verified you are human. Sorry for the inconvenience.
