I hope you have had a great holiday. 2023 has come to a world that, to many, has been quite different from before 2022, or even 2019. There are incidents and development that many of us would prefer not to happen.

Luckily the good old cup of tea is still as pacifying and enjoyable. Other than what you have known well in our collection, we have actually through the years added quite a number of new selections. Each a carefully curated variety of pure fine tea. There are now over 100 in the shop and still growing.

Although I have been advocating tea professionally since 1998, the current mode of online operation and this “new” company was found only in 2012.

New Year, new teapots
|
This week, there are eight new Yixing teapots added to the collection. Some quite elaborated. Some very good value. Yet always quality in a humble style, as we prefer.

Something that is better when older
In case you have missed it, we have added also a few compressed teas in the pu’er category last month. These “cha bings” do get better when older. That is why we have matured them for a while before releasing them. You can continue to mature them by yourself, just like those bottles in your wine cellar. Please let us know if you want to do this so I’ll share some tips.
