New harvests: First wave

We have been a bit late this year to release of our fresh green teas. The workload this Spring has been quite overwhelming. Nevertheless, the good news is, we have done our final approval tasting for the resting fresh harvests and these are available online now:
|
- Longjing (beautifully roasted)
- Biluochun (our best of this variety ever)
- Taiping Houkui (we have been enjoying this as strong brew, for its very low astringency)
- April Mist (delightfully bright as always)
- Yellow Snails (the yellow tea that we have missed dearly since it’s sold out the year before last)

You may also noticed that we have taken out the second tier options for some varieties in the online shop. Over the years we have noticed that most of you go for the top quality options rather than the lower price versions. I feel blessed to have your trust on us delivering top notch true quality at value. To focus our inventory in what you want would therefore make sense. There is, however, another motivation to do that — there are still many varieties that I would like to share with you for their distinctive taste profiles and epicurean experience. Quite a number will be launched in the coming weeks.

If you buy from us wholesale, rest assured that we continue to provide those varieties that you have been selling. If you have placed your Spring order yet, do make sure you have the quantity you need for the year, do let us know very soon so we can plan it in our intake.
