Moon Drops Himalayas

When a Taiwanese marries a Japanese in Nepal

Moon Drops is an offspring born in the Himalayas when Jinxuan of Taiwan is coupled with Yabukita of Japan, two major tea cultivars in their own countries.

This white tea with an extra rolling added towards the end of the processing gives a sweet, bouquety and smooth full body that does not only make it the best of our white tea collection but also a jewel of a tea in its own rights.

It is the result of years of hard work. Just raising those immigrant tea plants in the terroir of the Himalayas has been years of daunting tasks. The milder climates and rolling hills in their homeland are another world from the rugged terrain and challenging weather in Dhankuta. And then optimising a processing style and fine-tuning the techniques to manifest the potentials of the harvested leaves has taken years of experiments.

The fruit of this labour is a tea that I personally enjoy very much and have happily included into my own personal menu. I hope you’d enjoy it too.

Happy sipping,
Leo Kwan
ps: If you have previously enjoyed Silver Moon Himalayas (which is now replaced with this new variety), Moon Drops Himalayas will most definitely take you to a few levels up in epicurean experience.
