For us, it has been a terribly busy season shipping the first round of premium green teas while studying the new harvests of others — most of the black teas and earlier oolongs — Tieguanyins, Fenghuang Dancongs, GABA…
|
The harvests from a few areas have not been as good as normal because of uneven distribution of rainfall and humidity. As a result, those from less affected areas have become rarer by comparison and in much higher demand.
|
There are some exceptionally good ones nevertheless, and we have immediately locked in the quantities for those who have filed their wholesale needs early on and our own stocks. Red Plum Classic, Keemun, Tieguanyin, Honey Orchid, Fengxi Old Ginger…
|
We are blessed to have built a solid relationship with the producers and still have access to our usual top quality while holding most of the prices, be it in Fujian, Fenghuang or Taiwan… Yet we still have to move fast.

If you have not retained your portions yet, please let us know asap so we can see if there are anymore for the particular batches we have finalised. We shall be starting the complex logistics route to get them to Japan very soon.

Japanese line
We have already placed our order also for the Japanese lines, some of which now require a 6 weeks production lead time ( the tencha crisis and flooding of the market with products from other origins disguised as Japanese are still real threats adding to the chaotic market. I will write about this later ). If you need to jam in your needed quantity, please also let us know asap.
