Four reviews that almost made me cry

A recent user from USA posted four product reviews that almost made me cry.

We are blessed to have users posting mostly only appreciative reviews. In fact, over 99% are positive. That means the overall ability to appreciate our quality is very high. I am blessed to enjoy such a high calibre audience.

However these four reviews by “NN” are a little different.

Not only that they are detailed, so precisely detailed that the taste descriptions dwarf mine, but they also show a deep understanding of how different our selections are from the others available in the market. This takes the confidence as well the good knowledge of a well-seasoned tea aficionado. To me, gaining the appreciation from someone of this level of ability is a big pat of the back, a virtual award more satisfying than those commercial oriented “competitions”. It is the best kind of reward for me running this little teashop.

It has been two difficult years for us because of the turmoils of the pandemic putting on top of the challenges we have been facing upon the disintegration of the local social environment. We have worked really hard to be able to pull through. When a person from the other side of the planet whom I have never met before sent such empathetic messages, they go straight to the heart. Our dedication to genuine quality is recognised. There was a sudden release of emotions.

I cannot help but need to share with you these reviews.

The writings are enlightening and the insights revealing. No matter what your experience with these teas is, they are worth reading. The links below take your straight to the reviews. Please scroll up on the page when you want other info of each of the teas.
Please note that only a verified buyer of a product can post a review on the product page. Otherwise, if you would like to share any comments publicly, you are welcome to do so on our Facebook page, our Google Map entry (new), or on any article in our blog.

As to why I maintain a rather plain and rigid way of expressing taste profiles as opposed to the poetic and more interesting words used by NN and other commenting users, I will explain in another article.

Cheers,
Leo Kwan
