To the world, 2025 was an eventful year. To many, it was a year of dramatic changes and challenges. We are grateful to have enjoyed a year blessed with new hopes, new product ideas and the continual connection with you and many new in our networks.

Despite all the hurdles in customs, taxes, logistics, and suffocating ineffective bureaucracies that had overloaded us in 2025, we have big plans for this year, and certainly, many new additions to our product offerings.

The first to roll out is a small collection of Japanese teapots — chachū 茶注, commonly known as kyūsu 急須, for understanding how you would like such products.

For choosing more serious infusion vessels, although we have been focusing mainly on Yixing teapots and have a massive lineup still in the crate shipped from Hong Kong during the relocation, it is hard to resist a deeper study of the artisan grade Japanese teapots that are available to us only an hour’s drive away in the most revered origin, Tokoname 常滑.

In the same policy as our Yixing teapot collection, we have priced these chachū all according to the lower end of local Japanese online retail, which is considerably lower than when you buy it in brick and mortar shops in Japan, not to mention from those outlets elsewhere.
