While kyūsu 急須 is the generic name for teapots in Japan, specialist teapot makers often refer to their works with the classical term chachū 茶注. To us, other than our primary concern in the potential for infusion enhancement, the vessel’s ergonomics, aesthetics, and the technical mastery and its utilitarian relevancy are our main criteria in selecting our collection. We have priced them very competitively so that no matter where the shipping destination is, counting in shipping cost etc, the item will still be at much better value than when you get it in any local or other online store, if available at all. We can do this because we are blessed to have established a close cooperation relationship with all such prestigious ceramic centres near us. Happy steeping.
