A Shōryūtouen’s top apprentice

To showcase what an essential fine Tokoname can be at its great value, this is the one we have selected for this first collection. The third generation of the local Hokuryū teaware family had previously apprenticed under the Shōryūtouen studio for such solid basic forms and clay technique. A handmade piece with such valid quality and fine artistry is a clear reason for any user to stay away from all those poorly formed commercial or imitation products.

This is a handmade item. Each individual piece delivered may have slight variations in colour, pattern, shape and details from the particular one used in these pictures.
