For those who prefer a little more strength in their green tea, April Mist is a pleasant choice. Harvested from scattered wild tea bushes in April during the misty days of the mountainous region and lightly roasted to perfection, this Yunwu (translate: misty) makes a distinct difference from its counterparts that may look similar.
There maybe other products that look like this, the difference really is in the taste.
Light, fresh aroma with sweet maltase undertone. Bright, clean, refreshing infusion. Relatively smooth and round with tiny bites of bitter sharpness. Light sweet aftertaste.
Use higher temperature (eg 90°C) for sharper taste, lower (eg 75°C) and slightly more leaves for a tastier liquor.
* We shall be discontinuing this variety in the online retail shop once the current stock is depleted, but will still keep it for export and wholesale. The current stock for online is from 2016, but well-kept in chilled storage.

The toasted sweet wood aroma of Tieguanyin Deep Brown comes from baking of the tea in low fire over times. Fire changes not only the color and taste but also its health nature. Those people who may feel nausea after other teas, including green or black ones, greener Tieguanyin or other oolongs, will likely be better off using this one. Baking also makes this tea suitable for storing for maturity. A good digestive.
While White Peony from Fuding tastes more floral, that from the other earliest region, Zhenghe, tastes longer and deeper. The more tedious curing process is marked by the darker colors on the leaves. This is the best and most classical representation from the origin, aka King of White Peony, a favorite by many white tea connoisseurs.Net weight: 40 g (1.4 oz) in Kraft-alu packSaveSave
In the realm of green tea, if those from India are too rough and astringent, or Japanese ones too seaweedy, maybe Chinese is the way to go. Tea Hong's Silver Curls is a great value selection to start experiencing the category with. It has the characteristics of the archetypical Chinese green tea — soft, fragrant, slightly sweet and refreshing. In some teashops, the same quality can be labelled as Biluochun or some other expensive names.

Huangshan Maofeng green tea is a must-have souvenir when one visits Huangshan. However, even if you know the way to real teashops rather than tourist traps, a pack of such quality as Tea Hong's Cuiyu would come at a high price. That is why this pleasant tasting and slightly sweet baked green tea is a most popular item not only for our retail, but also export. To maintain consistent high quality, we employ only harvest before the lunar almanac demarkation of “guyu” — the first rain for seeding, around early to mid-April. "Yuqian" — before the rain — is the traditional term for this.Net weight: 35 g (1.2 oz) in Kraft-alu packSaveSaveSaveSaveSaveSave
