Taste profile
Soft herbaceous aroma that reminds of cooked grains with accents of sweet berries and an undertone of caramel and cocoa. Soft, lively, malty sweet infusion. Open, refreshing and cleansing sensations. Silky tactility. Mildly sweet aftertaste. This matured batch from 2016 carries extra sweet chocolate accents in the aroma.
Infusion tips
Unlike green tea, a white tea such as a genuine Silver Needle is much better brought out with water in higher temperature: 90°C. The taste profile also withstands repeated infusion much better.

Cream of Pu’er 2015, naturally formed shu cha tea nuggets
Home, Tea, Pu'er teas, Yunnan, Denser Aromas, Fuller Bodies, Neutral EnergySpring Cha Tou:
During the many re-shufflings of the leaves in the post-fermentation process, some of the most tender leaf shoots with naturally higher percentage of pectin stick together, forming these small nuggets. Since they have the highest concentration of vitality substances but less bitter ones as the youngest of the leaves, ‘cha tou’ tastes smoother, sweeter and softer. Tea Hong’s top quality Cream of Puer is made only from prime spring harvests for even better taste and health compositions. A real treat for people who enjoy shu cha pu’er.

Luan Guapian Supreme, traditional green tea
Home, Tea, Green teas, Huangshan - Anhui, Lighter Aromas, Milder Tastes, Cold EnergyThe sweetness in a unique bitter green
Unlike other green teas that are prized for plucking early in Spring, leaves of Da Guazi need to be quite grown and spread in order to make a fine Luan Guapian. This gives the proper biochemistry that yields enough pectin for the tea's signature velvety texture and unique bitter character. This is possible only with a special local cultivar — Da Guazi — Big Melon Seed, hence the funny name. Some say it takes enough experience in life for a person to appreciate the bitterness in a food or drink. We think maybe it only takes a person with a truly sensitive taste faculty to understand and prize such a wonderful tea.
