  • Oriental Beauty, deep oxidation Taiwan oolong

Most delicious Oriental Beauty with unique Oriental Beauty tastes. How happy to find teashop good in both China tea and Taiwan tea. I have not tried this shop’s Nepal tea yet. I will try soon.

  • Luan Guapian Supreme, traditional green tea

    Beautiful tea

I don’t have a lot of experience with different kinds of tea, but this one is so different that I want to write about it here. It has a fullest, roundest body and silkiest texture I have ever experienced with tea. I have not expected tea to be like that before and I totally love it!

  • Wild Tree Black Tea, processed in the gongfu tradition

    My first experience with this

This is the first time I ever heard of this tea and the first that I ever tried it. To me, it is rather like a combination of black tea and oolong. Normally I think black tea lacks the great smell and soother and more complex tastes of oolong, but this one has some of these characters. I am totally surprised! I have tried it using both gongfu style and ordinary teapot way. Like it.

  • Orchid Gratus, Phoenix dancong oolong

While in the world of wine, comparative tasting has been a common practice amongst the consumers, it is far less common in tea. How I wish more people could be doing such similar exercises like you do to become smarter connoisseurs. Indeed, besides the mastery in the initial processing, patience and expertise in subsequent baking are critical in the making of any classic style Phoenix oolongs. Any deeper baked oolongs, actually. I am amazed that you are sensitive enough to have deciphered that through tasting. I am sure this tasting skill has made tea drinking a lot more enjoyable for you, as it has for me, both for my job and daily drinking.

  • Danhu Old Bush Song Cultivar, Phoenix dancong oolong

This is an extraordinary tea! To say that this Song Cultivar raises the bar what tea enjoyment and appreciation are all about is an understatement. Even an overly simplified comparison.

The sensation and emotions of its bouquet, taste, aftertaste and mindfulness it affords long after the last sip surpasses one’s expectation of what a tea plant can achieve when nature is complemented with the passion of tea farmers/makers to augment an already extraordinary tea plant into a brew that is so ethereal and so exquisite. A Mona Lisa of Fenghuang dancongs.

  • Aura of the Night, bouquet Phoenix oolong

I am so happy that you have discovered that the tea has good dimensions besides its alluring beautiful first impression. It is indeed a very nice and rare batch.
